Character analysis is the process of looking at how a character develops and changes throughout a story. It is a way to explore a character's thoughts, motivations, relationships, and decisions. In 9th grade, this process can help you understand and appreciate the characters in the stories you read.

Dynamic Character: A character whose thoughts, feelings, or motivations change over the course of a story. Static Character: A character whose thoughts, feelings, or motivations remain the same throughout a story.

Personality traits are often based on the Five Factor Model, which is a research-based model used to measure individual differences in personality.
