Digital Footprint: The data trail, both positive and negative, that is created as you use the Internet. It includes all of the content you generate (i.e. blog posts, photos, comments, etc.) as well as data that is collected about you (i.e. search engine searches, purchases, etc.). Digital Etiquette: The rules and standards of acceptable behavior when using the Internet. It includes being respectful, using appropriate language, and being aware of your digital footprint. Netiquette: A combination of the words “network” and “etiquette”, netiquette refers to the rules of etiquette that should be followed when communicating online.
