Happiness is a feeling that comes from within. Scientists study how we can use our minds, bodies and environment to increase our happiness! Things like spending time with friends, exercising, and helping others can help us be happier!

Gratitude: The appreciation of the good things in life, from the small and simple to the large and complex.
Concepts:
Happiness can make us healthier. Studies have found that people who are happier tend to have stronger immune systems and lower levels of stress hormones. Laughter is one of the most powerful tools for increasing happiness. It has been proven to reduce negative emotions and increase positive emotions. Smiling, even when you don't feel like it, can make you feel happier. Smiling releases endorphins and can even help you feel more connected to those around you.
