Internet Safety: Taking precautionary measures to protect oneself from potential risks associated with using the internet. Online Etiquette: The rules of acceptable behavior when using the internet or communicating online.
The internet was created in 1969 by a team of U.S. scientists and engineers. Child predators use the internet to target potential victims, to collect information about them, and to make contact with them. According to the United Nations, more than 70 countries have implemented internet safety regulations for children.
