Gender equality is the belief that everyone should be treated equally regardless of their gender. It means providing equal opportunities, rights and access to resources for all genders. It works to end gender-based discrimination and oppression in society.
Gender: The social meaning given to the biological differences between males and females. Equality: The state of having the same rights, status, and opportunities. Discrimination: Treating a person or particular group of people differently, especially in a worse way from the way in which you treat other people, because of their skin color, sex, sexuality, etc.
