Mole and Rat pay a visit to Badger for shelter on a cold night. Badger receives them kindly and takes care of an injury Mole has sustained. They discuss their mutual friend Toad's reckless driving and plan to make him see reason. Afterwards, surrounded by the comfort of Badger's home, they go off to rest.
