A mysterious crime has occurred, and your class is tasked to find the perpetrator before they escape! Embark on this magical journey of forensic science, where students must employ their reading and writing skills to solve the crime. Target Audience: ELA/RLA, Grade 6 to 12. Lesson Outline: In this lesson students: 1. Learn about a mysterious crime and its suspects. 2. Construct a theory that is reviewed by a private detective. 3. Write a correspondence to a witness, convincing them to answer their questions. 4. Infer who the perpetrator is. 5. Reflect as a class on the solution.
