Can you hunt down leads, interview witnesses, and share the story for your captive audience? Students take on the role of lead reporter, live on the scene of a developing story. They must use their best reporting skills to share what’s happening as it unfolds. Can students tell a story good enough for live TV? Use this story-based writing activity to practice descriptive details. To customize the lesson, type in a location for the adventure and select your grade level. “Live at the scene . . .”
