Lesson description

Practice SCR reading for non-fiction passages for the STAAR test. This generator allows you to add your own non-fictional passage, and a standard, to create an SCR writing prompt and lead-up questions. The students receive feedback and a grade as an integrated part of the lesson. You add * Standard: A reading or writing standard you want your students to practice, e.g. “Analyze how themes are developed through the interaction of characters and events”. * Non-fiction passage: Upload a non-fictional passage of your choice. (If you don't have a PDF screenshot from the website or take a picture of the textbook). * Grade: Add your grade level.
