Guns: An Overview
Gun Safety: the practice of using safe handling and storage procedures to prevent accidents involving firearms. Gun Control: a set of laws or policies that regulate the manufacture, sale, transfer, possession, modification, or use of firearms by civilians. Muzzleloader: a gun that is loaded from the muzzle, or front end, of the barrel, as opposed to a modern firearm which is loaded from the breech, or rear end, of the barrel.
The world's first gun was created in China in the 1200's and was called the 'Fire Lances'. There are over 500 million guns in the world, enough for 1 in every 7 people. In 2007, the United States Military implemented a new gun made entirely out of plastic called the M4.
