What is Matter?
Matter is anything that has mass and takes up space. It can be solid, liquid, or gas. Matter is made up of atoms and molecules that are constantly moving and interacting. Matter can be changed from one state to another through physical or chemical processes.

Matter can change from one form to another, like when ice melts into liquid water. Matter can also be found in space. For example, some stars are made up of matter like hydrogen and helium!
