Lesson description

Practice ECR informational text passage w. informational composition for the STAAR test. This generator presents students with an informational passage and a writing prompt based on your selected standard, based on which student writes an in-depth response by explaining, analyzing, and evaluating, the information provided. The students receive feedback and a grade as an integrated part of the lesson. You select - Topic: Can be something the students are interested in or content/standards from other subjects, e.g. Science, Social Studies etc - Standard: A reading or writing standard you want your students to practice, e.g. “ Infer basic themes supported by text evidence”
