Lesson description

Practice SCR reading with non-fiction passages for the STAAR test. This generator presents students with a non-fiction passage and a writing prompt based on your selected standard, based on which they give a brief explanation in their own words to demonstrate their understanding of content. The students receive feedback and a grade as an integrated part of the lesson. You select * Topic: Can be something the students are interested in or content/standards from other subjects, e.g. Science, Social Studies etc * Standard: A reading or writing standard you want your students to practice, e.g. “Analyze how themes are developed through the interaction of characters and events”.
