Picasso drew Igor Stravinsky right side up. Now Picasso did not sketch this picture upside down, however, when we flip this picture upside down it becomes confusing. As an artist you should be able to draw a picture right side up, upside-down, sideways, backwards, or anyways imaginable. That is because the most important part of the image is not the image itself, but the lines that make it up. Arrange the lines in the correct order and you can have a masterpiece. Igor Stravinsky (1882-1971) was a Russian-born composer who is considered one of the greatest composers of the 20th century.

  • It's a great way to express creativity and use the right side of my brain wel
  • It's a difficult and tedious technique, but I was able to get the figure down
  • It's a unique way to learn about observation study and to draw what I see, rather then what I know

Igor Stravinsky was a master of blind contour drawing and he actually used it as a form of relaxation. The practice of blind contour drawing originated in the early 19th century, and was developed by artists such as William B. Richards and John Ruskin. Continuous line drawing is a technique used by many artists to achieve a sense of movement and energy within a work of art. It is often used to create rhythm and flow within a piece.
