What's your favourite film in one word?
The Shawshank Redemption is a 1994 American drama film based on the 1982 Stephen King novella. The film tells the story of Andy Dufresne, a banker who is sentenced to life in Shawshank State Penitentiary for the murder of his wife and her lover. It stars Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman as two imprisoned men who form a friendship, and eventually gain their freedom.
