The Founding of Major Religions
Hinduism is the oldest religion in the world and it predates recorded history. As such we DO NOT KNOW who the founder was, or atleast no one person has been credited with its creation. The founder of Buddhism, Siddhartha Gautama, was born a prince in the 5th century BC. The founder of Islam, Prophet Muhammad, was born in 570 AD in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. The founder of Christianity was Jesus Christ. Who we do know thanks to historical Roman documents was indeed a real person.
