Name two types of number.
Natural numbers are the numbers we use for counting: 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. Whole numbers are the same as natural numbers, but also include 0: 0, 1, 2, 3, etc. Integers are the combination of whole numbers and their opposites: -5, -4, -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, etc.

Integer: Whole numbers (positive, negative, and zero) Rational Numbers: Any number that can be expressed as a fraction of two integers Irrational Numbers: Numbers that cannot be expressed as a fraction of two integers, such as pi or the square root of 2
