In a few words, what is point of view?
Understanding Point of View
Point of view is the perspective from which a story is told. The point of view can be from the narrator (reader) or from a character. Different points of view can change the way we interpret a story.
Did you know?
A point of view can be either first person (narrator is a character in the story) or third person (narrator is not a character in the story). Point of view can also be used in visual media, such as photography, to narrate a story from the photographer's perspective.
