Why is showing respect important?
You build a reputation as a kind, polite, person and people will want to spend time with you. You are more likely to make and keep good friends. You avoid hurting others feelings, damaging friendships, or your reputation. You are more likely to recieve help and support from others when you need it.

Step 4: Stand up for what's right. Sometimes it might feel easier to go along with the crowd and join in the behavior of your friends, but that’s not smart or fair. Be proud of making respectful and responsible choices.
