Respect is important because it helps us to recognize the qualities of others that we admire. It helps us to make connections and learn about the person. We can even find similar interests and build a friendship. A person’s body language can be a sign of respect, such as standing up straight or making eye contact. You don’t have to agree with someone to show them respect. You can show respect by listening to their opinion even if you don’t agree.
