Empathy: The ability to understand and share the feelings of another person. Gratitude: Feeling or showing thankfulness for something done or received. Compassion: A deep awareness of the suffering of another coupled with the wish to relieve it.

Kindness can make a positive change in the world. Showing kindness to others takes courage and strength. When we show kindness, we can make a positive difference in the lives of those around us.
The Power of Kindness
Studies have shown that being kind to others can increase your self-esteem and create a positive outlook on life. Research has found that small acts of kindness can reduce stress in both the giver and receiver. A study in the U.S. showed that when people performed five acts of kindness a week for six weeks, their overall life satisfaction increased.
