Name one type of landform:
Landforms are natural features of the earth's surface like mountains, deserts, and plains. Different landforms have different shapes and features. Landforms are constantly changing due to erosion, weathering, and other natural processes.
Coastline: the line of land that separates the land from the sea or ocean. Valley: a low area of land between two higher areas, usually with a river or stream running through it. Hill: an area of land that is higher than the land around it, usually with a rounded top.
What is your favorite landform?
Terraced landforms are created when rivers carry sediment and deposit it in layers over time. The world's longest mountain range is the Mid-Ocean Ridge, which stretches around the globe beneath the oceans. The world's largest sinkhole is the Xiaozhai Tiankeng in China, measuring 662 feet deep and 1,600 feet wide.
