Self Image and Self Improvement
Self-image: Beliefs and attitudes (mental picture) we have of ourselves Objective investigation by others (height, weight, hair color, etc.) Items that have been learned by that person about himself or herself, either from personal experiences or by internalizing the judgments of others.
Self-improvement: The process of improving oneself to gain success in life. It includes activities that improve awareness and identity and ultimately to achieve an individual's goals.
Self-efficacy: The belief in one's ability to achieve goals and accomplish tasks. It is the confidence in oneself to achieve a desired outcome and motivate oneself to persist in the face of obstacles.

Studies have shown that when we focus on improving ourselves, our self-image improves as well. The average 6th grader spends almost one hour a day on social media, which can have a big impact on self-image and self-improvement. We can use positive self-talk to improve our self-image and confidence.
