Hearing: The ability to detect sound waves and interpret them as sound. Sight: The ability to detect light and interpret it as images. Smell: The ability to detect odors and interpret them as smells.

Humans have more than 5 senses. In addition to the commonly known five senses - sight, smell, sound, taste and touch - humans have a sense of balance, a sense of time, and a sense of pain. Humans can detect approximately 10,000 different smells. Humans have the ability to feel pressure from 1/1000th of an inch and temperature changes from 1/1000th of a degree Fahrenheit.
