Product design is the process of creating a product that fulfills a need or solves a problem. It includes understanding customer needs, researching and conceptualizing ideas, testing prototypes and refining the final product. Product design can be applied to anything, from physical products like phones, to digital products like apps.

customer needs: The wants, desires and requirements of a customer, determined through research and study. research: The process of gathering and analyzing information in an effort to better understand a topic. prototype: A preliminary version of a product or system used to test and demonstrate its functionality.
Concepts:
The first product ever designed was the wheel, created around 3500 BC. Apple is famous for its focus on product design, with their first products launching in 1976. Designers often use 3D printing for product prototyping, allowing them to quickly create and test different designs.

Work together in pairs: What one thing would you change about your favorite product to make it even better? Describe it on the screen and draw it on a piece of paper, do not forget your and your partner's names on the paper.
