Pac-Man was originally called Puck-Man. The name was changed due to fears of vandalism. The original Super Mario Bros. was designed so that the player could only jump over a maximum of two enemies at a time. The game Pong was the first commercially successful video game.

It is a classic genre of video game with many popular titles. RPG: Role-playing video game in which the player assumes the role of a character in a game world and takes control of that character's actions. RPGs usually involve interacting with non-player characters, completing quests, and fighting enemies. Arcade Game: A game found in arcade venues, such as shopping malls or movie theaters, that typically uses a joystick and buttons to control on-screen characters. Classic arcade games include Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Donkey Kong.
