Targeted Writing Practice and Immediate Feedback in CA Boost Achievement 46%

Over the years, a group of veteran teachers in Southern California routinely saw the latest and greatest EdTech sweep through the district, but they just didn’t see the value in most tools. Of those students, 13.5% scored AboveStandard, a growth of 8.5 percentage points from the year before. At the same time, the number of students below standard dropped from 50% to just 27%.
