In Curipod, we care deeply about student engagement and help driving meaningful learning outcomes, and we only use AI where it's the best technology to help us reach those goals. We use AI to help teachers quickly customize lessons to fit their students interests, passions and academic level. We also use AI to provide relevant and actionable feedback on student writing immediately during class, so they don't have to wait for the teacher using their evenings to write feedback.
Curipod is not an AI for adminstrative work, not an AI for formal grading, not an AI chatbot, and not an AI for a million other things. Curipod is using AI to spark student engagement and drive learning outcomes.

Many school districts around the US is interested in letting students experience their first interactions with AI in a controlled environment, and where they feel that chat bot solutions with a teacher moderation tool is not strict enough. They are painfully aware that the students are still (fortunately) smarter than the chat bots, and they can quickly steer the conversation away from the subject at hand.
In Curipod, there is no chat bot experience where the students can outsmart the chatbot. Whenever students are receiving feedback on their writing or illustration from AI, they submit their response, and the teacher can view, edit or delete any feedback from the AI before it is delivered to the students.

Keeping student and teacher data safe
This should be obvious, but we are stating it none the less. Curipod will never be using teacher or student data to train AI models. All student and teacher data is stored safely and encrypted.
